In summer, they eat a lot of grass because they spend their day outside in a large field. Hampson and Gracie are together in a herd with 6 other horses and ponies. Wildfire and Gazelle have a private field all to themselves because they will not tolerate other horses. Panama is in a herd of broodmares and is also out all day. In winter, the horses have a large paddock where they can run around all day.
